The order of Cookie and Maddie

Hi, so I tested your theory on how the cut villagers are ordered, and while it is indeed accurate 99% of the time, there are two villagers whose ordering seem to have been completely swapped between the ID systems: Cookie and Maddie.

In the old system, Maddie is DOG5, whereas Cookie is DOG6. However, the new system lists Cookie as dog08 and Maddie as dog09.

This is not to discredit your theory (it's likely a mistake in the same way as how Dobie was the first cut wolf villager in order of the new ID system, even though islanders are typically ordered last of the "cut villagers" group), this is just something I wanted to bring to your attention. Some mistakes

Becky is categorized in the "Animal Crossing villagers cut from Wild World" group when she should be in the "Doubutsu no Mori e+ villagers cut from Wild World" group.

Patty is categorized in the "New Wild World villagers" group when she should be in the "Returning villagers in Wild World" group.

This one's more of an inconsistency, but Boone's category lists Animal Crossing: Wild World in its full title when all other uses just say Wild World. The Jacketed Terrapin 00:39, October 23, 2021 (EDT)
