The ghost umbrella is an umbrella item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The ghost umbrella acts like a tool, allowing the player to hold on to the item. Villagers will also carry this item during periods of rain. Interacting with the umbrella causes the player to spin it around.
The ghost umbrella can be obtained from the upgraded Nook's Cranny for 1,670 Bells, making it tied with the exquisite parasol and kabuki umbrella as the most expensive umbrella item.
This item is used by 
Ankha, 
Puck, and 
Rodeo as their default umbrella during periods of rain. 
Wart Jr. has this item as their default umbrella, but will refrain from using the umbrella due to their status as a frog villager.
In Happy Home Paradise, this item is unlocked for use in designing when doing a vacation home request for

Toby.
Real-world information
