Real-world information
The Thinker is a bronze sculpture by Auguste Rodin. It depicts a nude man sitting in deep thought, resting his chin on his right hand. The image of the statue is often used to represent philosophy. A small, plaster version of the sculpture was created in 1881, but the full-sized bronze casting that is featured in Animal Crossing: New Horizons was created in 1904 and has been on display at the Musée Rodin in Paris since 1922.
