Sydney (シドニー, Shidonī) is a normal, koala villager in the Animal Crossing series, who appears in Animal Crossing. She was absent in Animal Crossing: Wild World and re-appears in Animal Crossing: City Folk. Sydney is named after Sydney, Australia, as this is the country where koalas originate from.

Sydney has dark purple fur, white fur on her chin and inside her ears, and pink blush on her cheeks. She has a large, brown nose above the white part of her face. Sydney starts off wearing a a Big Dot shirt.
