Gullivarrr is a special character who shares strong similarities with Gulliver. Starting in the 1.3.0 Free Summer Update, a seagull that looks suspiciously similar to Gulliver can wash ashore dressed as a pirate captain. He refers to himself as the Dread Pirate Gullivarrr and will ask the player to retrieve his communicator, rather than communicator parts, that is located in the sea and must be retrieved by diving with a Wet Suit. Once the communicator is found Gullivarrr will contact his pirate crew, and the next day the player will receive a letter from Gullivarrr containing an item from Pirate Series or article of clothing.
Despite their names, appearances and predicaments being similar, it is implied that Gullivarrr and Gulliver aren’t the same character through their mannerisms and dialog. One hint at this is that Gullivarrr doesn’t recognize the player upon interacting with them, even if they had spoken to Gulliver before.
