The tank is a top item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The item can be worn by either the player or any villagers.

The tank can be obtained during the summer from Mabel before building Able Sisters, or from the shop once it has opened for 350 Bells.

No villagers wear this item as their default outfit. However, villagers will wear this top when they are doing yoga.

In Happy Home Paradise, this item is unlocked for use in designing when doing a vacation home request for Cyrano, Drift, and Louie. In addition, the item can be used to change the clothing of a villager or the player either during or after the designing process for screenshot purposes.
