Julia (ジュリア, Juria) is an ostrich villager in the Animal Crossing series. She first appeared in Doubutsu no Mori e+, where she was a peppy islander, and then after being absent from the Animal Crossing series for over a decade, returned in Animal Crossing: New Leaf - Welcome amiibo, where she was a snooty villager.
Characteristics
Appearance
Julia is a gray ostrich with a green and blue head, gray wings with various shades of green on the top of her wings, a blue stomach and gray feet, with black stripes adorning her legs. She has large, anime-like eyes, with orange irises. She highly resembles a peacock because of her tail feathers, which are various colours, and her green and blue headcrest.
Personality
In Doubutsu no Mori e+
Below is a brief description of the peppy personality. For more information, click here.
In Doubutsu no Mori e+, Julia is a peppy islander. Julia will have the tendency to overreact in conversations about trivial subjects such as appearing in competitions and the chance of her losing. This sometimes triggers her to ask for a certain item of clothing or furniture which she needs to enter a competition. She, like other peppy villagers, will rarely be discouraged from doing anything, including the usual hobbies. She will also have a short attention span, which means she will soon forget arguments or tasks given to the player which were not completed.
Since Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Below is a brief description of the snooty personality. For more information, click here.
In Animal Crossing: New Leaf - Welcome amiibo, Julia has become a snooty villager, a fairly large contrast from her personality in Doubutsu no Mori e+. As a snooty villager, Julia will first appear rude and arrogant towards the player, often talking about herself and her own experiences, but will be nice and pleasurable if the conversation is mature and non-insulting. She may also talk about the style and appearance of other villagers, usually other female villagers such as normal, peppy, uchi, and other snooty villagers. She will soon warm up to the player, confining in them about her own personal feelings but still keeping subtly rude. She will find it hard to get along with other villagers, specifically jock and lazy villagers who have conflicting lifestyles compared to her own. She may get on with cranky villagers, who also enjoy gossiping about the appearance and lifestyles of others, as well as smug villagers, who share a love and knowledge for fashion.

House
In Animal Crossing: New Leaf - Welcome amiibo, Julia's house appears to be themed to a romantic dinner at a restaurant, and like all other villagers with an RV, is similar in appearance to her RV. She has two Round-Cloth Tables in the northern corners of her house, with a Single Rose on the left table, and a Warming Buffet on the right table. In the middle of her house is a Table with Cloth, that has been customised to have a Lace Tablecloth, with a Steamed Lobster sitting on the table, and two Reception Chairs seated next to each other at the table. Near the entrance of her house is an Elegant Bench and a Coat Hanger. Her wallpaper is the Rococo Wall, and her flooring is the Herringbone Floor. K.K. Sonata plays if she has a stereo in her house.
RV
Julia's RV is themed similarly to her house, and contains a customised Table with Cloth, with a Steamed Lobster, a Desk Bell and a Sausage on top of the table. There are two Reception Chairs adjacent to the table. In the eastern corners of Julia's RV, there are two Round-Cloth Tables, with a Candelabra placed on the northern table, and a Warming Buffet rested on the southern table. Her wallpaper is the Rococo Wall, and her flooring is the Herringbone Floor. The RV's radio plays K.K. Sonata.
