Template:Infobox Painting The Moving Painting is one of the pieces of artwork available in the Animal Crossing series games. This piece is based on the 1482 work "The Birth of Venus" by Italian painter Sandro Botticelli. Since the Moving Painting is only available at Crazy Redd's, one should be wary of forgeries.

This painting depicts the birth of Venus, the Roman Goddess of beauty and love, or Aphrodite, the Greek Goddess of love. Blown to the shore by Zephyrus (from where we get the word zephyr), Venus is greeted by one of the Horae, a Goddess of the Seasons, who gives her a flowered cloak.
