The gigas giant clam is a sea creature in the Animal Crossing series. It first appeared in Animal Crossing: New Horizons in the 1.3.0 Free Summer Update, where it appears all day long as a very large, very fast shadow from late spring early fall. It and the spider crab are the only two sea creatures in the game to have very large shadows. With a sell price of 15,000 Bells, it is also the highest-selling sea creature, and ties 6 different fish for the highest selling creature in the series.
In October 2020, it became available as a limited-time item in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, where it is categorized as a shell rather than a sea creature.
