The Free Update (version 1.11.0) is an update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons released on July 29, 2021. It features the addition of new seasonal items from Nook Shopping plus new items from Fireworks Show. The update was announced on July 27, 2021.[1]
New features
- 12 new handheld food items are available during Fireworks Shows.[2]
- Three new Halloween-themed items are available at Nook's Cranny during October.
- Two new Nook Shopping seasonal events are added and one returns from 2020.[2]
- Obon is celebrated from August 10 to August 16 with an Eggplant Cow and Cucumber Horse.
- Chuseok is celebrated from September 12 to September 21 with a Songpyeon
- Moon-Viewing Day returns from 2020, now being celebrated from September 12 to September 21 with Dango and Moon Cakes.
