HHD DLC[edit]

- I play it, and there are indeed downloadable content. They are returning villager who hasn't appeared since the GameCube. Most of the time it's monthly. So I was thinking to put their Happy Home Designer artwork in the box, and showing the time they are available for each region. For example, since Claude is available in all regions, I'd say to put his Happy Home Designer artwork and say up to when he is ready. Sounds good? Heidy Isabel 13:24, January 27, 2016 (EST)

- Thanks for wanting to tackle the DLC! It's something that definitely needs to be updated again. The page is protected, and I would go ahead and unprotect it, but right now it is set so that any page that is transcluded onto the main page is automatically protected. I don't think there is an easy way to turn it off for just one page; let me talk to Jake and get back to you with a solution. ~SuperHamster Talk 00:35, January 28, 2016 (EST)

- I think this template should be open to non-admins, since it needs updating regularly. My idea is this: change the Main Page's protection settings so that it is not 'cascading', then issue appropriate protections to the transcluded templates individually. That way, we don't require admin assistance every time something needs updating. Actually, this discussion is effectively one for the staff forums, but Heidy Isabel isn't a member over there... - The only other option I can think of is to make a project page or forum thread to allow non-admins to request edits to protected pages. :P Joking aside, I've gone and altered various protection settings. Deletion?[edit]
Do we even need this template now? It isn't currently used on the Main Page since DLC for New Leaf is sadly no more. Is deletion a viable option, or is archival best? Or do we leave it as is? --Red (talk)
