- You are correct that he looks like one, but according to official Nintendo sources, there isn't a standalone gazelle species. Therefore, he is a deer. Compare him to Julian and Chester, a unicorn and panda, respectively (categorized respectively as a horse and cub). --Wookiee123 11:27, 24 August 2013 (EDT)
