Shouldn't searching 'Apple' go to a disambiguation page?MyDearDeirdre (talk) 14:07, November 19, 2021 (EST)

The fruit doesn't have its own article though. Still, I'm willing to consider it. Drago (talk) Drago PC Villager Icon.png 12:23, November 20, 2021 (EST)
All villagers having a standard naming scheme (without any parentheses after them) makes it easier when creating templates (specifically linking an image of a villager to their page). This is less important now given that information can be pulled from a cargo store, but I still think it's something to think about. Apples do have their own pages at Item:Apple (Animal Crossing) and Item:Apple (New Horizons), but I don't know that they are more notable than the villager page. They're definitely less notable than the villager page. Drago (talk) Drago PC Villager Icon.png 11:18, November 21, 2021 (EST)
Just posting here to confirm that after checking internal stats, Apple (villager) is in the top 200 most-visited pages this year. The item pages are not in the top 500. Sunmarshsignature.png (talk) 12:20, November 30, 2021 (EST)

Question about Acquired from (Villager) categories[edit]

While on my work creating Acquired from (Villager) categories, I ever wanted to create a category called Acquired from Apple (villager), But I think another category exists with the name Acquired from apple, Should we replace the category that formats "apple" as "Apple" with Acquired from Apple (villager)? Category:Acquired from apple and Category:Acquired from Apple do not interfere with each other due to casing. It should be fine since that's how both entities are naturally cased in-game, and if really needed, a description could be added to Category:Acquired from apple.
