The site notice should not contain content when a notice is not being displayed. Do not comment out code as a placeholder. Doing so will result in increased load and cache times.

Site time[edit]

- All of the times on Nookipedia are in EST/EDT (depending on daylight savings), so I thought it would make sense to use it here too. --Jake 13:51, March 24, 2014 (EDT)
Inkipedia Site Notice[edit]
Although Jake said in his edit summary that the notice regarding Inkipedia's joining of NIWA could be taken down on or after June 10th, I think we should wait to take it down until the 14th. By that date, the notice will have been up for one week, and a significant amount of editors and viewers will have noticed it and possibly clicked on the link. (Believe me, Inkipedia does benefit from the traffic it receives from other wikis in the alliance; it is one of main pros of joining NIWA.) - I support keeping the notice about Inkipedia up longer, but I've gone ahead and replaced it with a notice of our celebration/giveaway now that that's happening. I'd keep both, but two notices is a bit much IMO. We could re-instate the notice for Inkipedia after a few days, if we still want it. ~SuperHamster Talk 12:35, July 11, 2015 (EDT)
