The golden pillar is an interior structure item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons introduced in the 2.0 Free Update. The item can only be used inside a house structure, and cannot be dropped on the ground.
The golden pillar can be obtained from crafting, which requires 4× gold nugget. The recipe for this item can be obtained from Niko by donating a set number of gold nuggets and iron nugget after completing the 19th house in Happy Home Paradise. Niko will only accept material donations for the item after the player has donated materials to Niko for him to create the marble pillar, low marble island counter, and tall marble island counter.
