The fountain firework is an item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons introduced in the 1.4.0 Summer Update (Wave 2). When dropped, a prompt appears asking the player to push the "A" button. This activates the fountain firework, sparkling in the air until a few seconds later when the item is converted to a Used fountain firework. The item cannot be dropped on any players' islands unless they are marked as a Best Friend.

The fountain firework can be obtained from Nook's Cranny for  600 Bells or at random from Redd's Raffle during a Fireworks Show for  500 Bells.

In Happy Home Paradise, this item is unlocked for use in designing when doing a vacation home request for Bill and Mac.
