• "Hello! Digby here. My, my! It's so nice to hear from you. How are things? Anything I can do to make your day brighter? A vacation home...for me? Wow! Of course I'm interested. Homes are kind of my specialty, after all. I'd love to hear all about it. Oh, and please tell Lottie I said hello!"

When discussing options for home

• "Thanks for waiting! Let's go ahead and dive right in."
• "I'm so happy I can leave everything in the hands of someone as talented as you, <player name>!"
• ”This is also a great opportunity for me to keep learning about creative home design. I’m over the moon!”

• • Player selects a place to build the vacation home
• "That sounds like a plan. My, my! I'm somehow even more excited now than I was on the way over!"

• • When asked about home floor level
• ”I can really have my choice of either? My, my! They both seem like great options… Which do you recommend?”
  • Player selects “A one-level home.”
• ”Thanks for your professional input! It’s settled. Let’s make it one story!”

Upon reaching vacation home

• ”Ah, so this will be my vacation home! I can’t wait to see what you do with the place.”

• ”My, my! Is everything going smoothly? Is it done?”
  • Player selects “Not quite yet.”
• ”Oh, don’t mind me! You just keep doing your thing. I’ll be right here, watching and learning.”
  • Player selects “It’s ready!”
• ”Wow! Thank you so much!”

(Player completes the home in a short amount of time)

• ”Wow, that was fast. I could learn a thing or two about efficiency from you. Thanks, <player name>!”

(Player completes the home in 20+ minutes)

• ”I have to say… It means a lot that you took the time to get things just right. You have a real knack for customer service! It was a joy to watch you work.”

Upon home completion

• ”I hear that Paradise Planning has a policy of using themes for their various home designs. How neat! If you don’t mind, I’d love to know what my place’s theme is!”
  • Player chooses theme name
• ”Wow! That’s perfect for this place! <Theme Name>!”

• ”So this is the joy a customer feels when their home is all finished. I’m so happy, and I’ve learned so much!”
• ”This is a good opportunity, so how about taking a commemorative photo?”
  • Player selects “Yes, I’ll take photos.”
• ”Great! I just love the idea that my vacation home will be recorded in the ol’ history books.”
  • Player selects “I need to head back.”

• “I find it easy to get carried away and lose track of time when I’m working outside. I get so fired up about home design that if I’m not intentional, I could easily lose sight of what’s important! So I try to remember to do all things in moderation. Finding balance in your life is so important, you know?”
• ”Having a yard like this makes me feel like a pup again. I just want to run around in circles having a blast! I bet it feels even better because I know this place is my very own.”
• ”It feels so good to stand outside my place and just… relax. Breathe deeply. Really embrace the moment. There was a time in my life when I tried anything and everything to relax, but nothing worked. One day I realized that all I really needed to do was breathe deeply and find the calmness within myself. And whenever I’m really stressed, burning some incense and indulging in a nice massage goes a long way.”
• ”My sister, Isabelle, and I both like to keep busy, so we don’t often have time to meet up. I’d love to invite her over for some quality sibling time, but… Well… She has no sense of direction. I’m a little worried that she’d set out to visit me and end up who knows where, even if I gave her a map…”

• ”You want to remodel my home? Well, you’ve earned my trust by now, so how can I say no? I can’t!

• ”I have no doubt you’ll do great work, as always!”
  • Player selects “Actually, never mind.” (Same as when the player chooses this option regarding moving.)
• ”Wait… what? We got this far only to stop now? Didn’t see that one coming! You really got me this time. Well, I’m sure you have your reasons, so I won’t pester you about it. I’ll be here waiting, ready when you are!”

• ”We can move my home? What an undertaking! As a fellow professional in the home industry, I’m tempted…”
  • Player selects “Leave it all to me!”
• ”Here we go! Once again, my home is in your capable hands!”

• • Player asks about roommates
• ”Sharing my vacation home? Huh! An exciting proposition, but… honestly, I’m not so sure. I spend a lot of time in training, so I’m afraid I wouldn’t make a good roommate. Sorry, but I’ll pass.”

• • Player selects “I’m heading back.”
• ”OK! Thanks for all your hard work! Feel free to come by for a visit at any time. Safe travels!”

When moving/remodeling home

• ”This spot. It’s… amazing! Perfect, really. Just as expected. I’m curious to see how you’ll change up my home in this new spot!”

• • (Once player is finished remodeling home)
• ”Do you plan on changing my home’s theme? Right now the theme is called <Theme Name>.”
  • Player selects “I’ll pick a new name.”
• ”Oh, how exciting! What’s the new theme name, then?”
  • Player selects “I like the name as is.”
• ”Understood! Change for the sake of change isn’t always the best idea. I like the name just the way it is.”

In The Roost

When the player calls Digby to The Roost, he brings his sister, Isabelle, along with him. This is the list of dialogue Digby has in The Roost.

• ”Thank you so much for inviting me today!”
• ”I used to work for Mr. Nook back in the day. Maybe I’ll go and say hello to him before I mosey on my way.”
• ”I get to see both my sister and Mr. Nook whenever I visit this island. It’s always such a pleasure, so I very much hope you’ll invite me back sometime!”
• ”Isabelle and I used to work in the same town. It was great! We live in different places now, but she always keeps me up to speed on this place and how much she loves it.”
• ”At the Happy Home Academy, home evaluations are our specialty. It’s right there in the name! That said, I have a personal interest in island evals as well.”
