List of downloadable content in City Folk
The following is a list of downloadable content (DLC) in Animal Crossing: City Folk. In City Folk, items and designs were distributed from 2008 to 2012 in North America, Japan, Europe, and South Korea via WiiConnect24.
Items[edit]
A total of 91 unique items were distributed to players of Animal Crossing: City Folk, including 59 furniture items, 21 headgear items, one accessory item, two umbrella items, three wallpaper items, and five flooring items. Additionally, four existing items that are available through other means are known to have been distributed: candy, the chocolate heart, red nose, and a bag of 1,000 Bells.
All items were received in a letter from Nintendo that was hand-delivered by Pete if the player had WiiConnect24 activated during the distribution period.

Unreleased items[edit]
Three unreleased DLC items—the red headgear, blue Pikmin, and yellow Pikmin—were discovered in the files for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Save Data Update Channel alongside all released DLC items. Through modification, it is possible to insert these unreleased items into Animal Crossing: City Folk, where they are fully functional.[44]
Designs[edit]
A total of 10 designs were distributed to players of Animal Crossing: City Folk from 2009 to 2010. All designs were available from Wendell, who appeared outside the player's house if they had WiiConnect24 activated during the distribution period.
Designs that were distributed in Japan and Korea have no official English localizations, so translations of the original Japanese and Korean names are used instead.
