Pondering is a K.K. Slider song. He might play it when you ask for an encore (only in City Folk) and tell him your mood is lazy. It is very slow and has frequent pauses, making it feel like you are pondering, or thinking about something very carefully, often spacing out. Monty is the only villager that has this song playing in his house. It did not appear in the original Animal Crossing.
