Zell is a smug deer villager who first appeared in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, as one of the first ten deer villagers in the Animal Crossing series. His name comes from "gazelle."
In New Horizons, Zell has the music hobby and may sing anywhere without the need of a stereo.
Characteristics
Appearance
Even though Zell is a deer, his appearance resembles a species of antelope native to India called a blackbuck from his spiral horns and black fur coloring.

Zell is a smug villager, meaning he will come off as a gentlemen and polite. Smug villagers are a more "clear" male counterpart to snooty villagers, and are kind and lively, but can come off as conceited. If the player is female, they will occasionally flirt. Smug villagers cannot be a starter villager, and can only move in after the player becomes mayor. They wake up at 8:30 AM.
