I am the original contributor of the Lovely Phone guide.

The current version is incomplete and obscures the complexity of this unique feature of New Leaf.

Each player's daily poem will be determined based on the TPC color and astrology sign of the human avatar.

Removing the data collection portion deprives fans of seeing that the same poem can be given to different TPC colors and astrology signs on the same day.

We're all about documenting game-functionality, however the original text was written more as a research report instead of a description of in-game effects.
