Shovel
Shovels in the Animal Crossing series are used to bury and dig. They are also essential for filling the museum. The shovels are also used to dig up tree stumps left over from cutting trees with the axes. They are used to dig up saplings and flowers aswell. You can also hit the villigers but with good timing but it will not get them angry. If you dig near a cliff the player will nealy fall off the cliff but in Main Street the player will look like he/she will trip. If you use it on gravel even in Main Street he/she will not dig instead hit it with the shovel. In City Folk, the silver shovel will have a 10% chance of doubling the money from a money rock. In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, there is a chance that the silver shovel can hit the Money Rock to spawn ores. In the original games, the golden shovel would dig 100 bells from random spots. In Animal Crossing: Wild World and Animal Crossing: City Folk, the golden shovel will plant money trees.
