Notes on list of furniture
Hey. I've seen your edits on Stereo, and I have to give you some thanks on improving it, although admittedly a lot of work is left to be done. With regards to that, I'll give you a few pointers on how you could improve the page a lot further:
- You used a MediaWiki styled table (
{| class="wikitable sortable" ...
), which is admittedly used for our older pages. The usage of Template:TableHeader is a more modern way of inserting furniture tables, along with other types of items, which could be tailored for different games (GameCube to New Leaf). - On furniture sizes, the furniture size templates Template:small, Template:medium, and Template:large are preferred instead of directly linking to the image files.
- There are several examples on how these furniture tables are used across the Wiki, such as Spooky Series or Katie. I recommend you poke with them a little bit by copying the TableHeader and TableContents from the source over to a sandbox (e.g., User:AlexBot2004/Sandbox).
- When it comes to sources, you could use the Item Lists linked in Nookipedia:Project_Furniture#General_guides or from other game guides on the Internet. (In Mario's words, don't worry, it's not plagiarism)
With all of that being said, I wish you luck with your stay here on Nookipedia! Decomposer 03:48, February 23, 2020 (EST)
