Alfonso (アルベルト,[1] Aruberuto, Albert) is a lazy alligator villager from the Animal Crossing series. He appears in 🎬 Gekijōban Doubutsu no Mori as a major character and Yu's best friend. His catchphrase, "it's a me" is a reference to the famous Nintendo character, Mario.
Appearance
Alfonso's design has elements of Nintendo's mascot Mario from the Super Mario series. Alfonso not only mimics Mario's "it's a me" quote as his initial phrase, but he also wears the Big Bro Shirt, which features the "M" emblem on Mario's cap. He is a burnt-umber orange with a white jaw, cheeks, and stomach. There are darker circles of orange on his face, legs, arms, and tail.
Personality
Below is a brief description of the lazy personality. For more information, click here.
As a lazy villager, Alfonso will be easy to get along with due to his laid back lifestyle. Like all lazy villagers, he shares a love of food and relaxing. In Animal Crossing: Wild World, he will mention his dream of diving in, for example, a pool of chocolate. He will enjoy partaking in the usual hobbies, usually for relaxing reasons or for food, when fishing. He will get along well with other villagers, but may offend or confuse jock villagers, who have a conflicting lifestyle of exercise and fitness, compared to the lazy lifestyle of relaxing and food. He will get along with other lazy villagers with whom he will talk about food, comics or superheroes. He will also get along well with normal and peppy villagers, but may from time to time annoy snooty and cranky villagers, who disagree with the lazy lifestyle.
House
In Animal Crossing, Alfonso's house has exotic furniture, four mini rhythmoids, two house plants, a toilet, and a white boom box. He has an imperial wall, and a basement floor. His stereo plays "Imperial K.K."
In Animal Crossing: Wild World, his house has three mini rhythmoids, an exotic chest and an exotic table, a glass-top table, a men's toilet, a house plant and a retro stereo which plays "Forest Life." He has an imperial wall and charcoal floor. His house in Animal Crossing: City Folk is nearly the same, only missing one rhthymoid.
