Animal Crossing: Let's Go To The Wiki was a wiki for Animal Crossing: City Folk. It was created on November 14, 2008[citation needed] by user Nook29 on the now-defunct wiki farm Wikispaces.
The wiki contained around 850 articles at the time of closure that focused in detail on Animal Crossing: City Folk, and most could be edited by any registered user. However, registration required sending a request to one of the wiki's organizers. The wiki also had a forum, Animal Crossing Avenues, where registered users could discuss City Folk, and a sister wiki, Animal Crossing New Leaf Wiki; both are now closed.
History
Inactivity and closure (2014–2018)
In 2014 Animal Crossing: Let's Go To The Wiki became inactive due to a subscription expiry caused by a change in Wikispaces' policies requiring a fee for non-educational wikis,[1] leading to the wiki requiring reactivation by one of its organizers. However, the wiki never was reactivated, and it closed on July 31, 2018 following the decommissioning of Wikispaces sites.[2]
