Template:Event Infobox April Fool's Day is an event held on the first day of April in the Animal Crossing series. There are only in-town events for April Fool's Day in Animal Crossing and City Folk, but the player receives a letter about it in Wild World.
Features
Different events occur on April Fool's Day depending on the game.
- In Animal Crossing, Tortimer gives the player his prized software Super Tortimer, which is actually a fake NES Game.
- In Animal Crossing: Wild World, the player receives a letter from one of their [[[parents]] with a joke.
- In Animal Crossing: City Folk, the player receives a furniture leaf, which resembles the furniture leaf which can be found on the ground outside in the town. It serves as a joke in that it does not turn into furniture when placed inside a house, but is an item of furniture itself.
