Plucky (パタヤ, Pataya) is a chicken villager from the Animal Crossing series. Her name comes from the word "pluck", coming from the word plucking the feathers, once the chicken is made into food. In Animal Crossing, she was a peppy islander. She has returned in New Leaf in the update as a villager, this time as an uchi villager.

Characteristics

Appearance

Plucky is a brown chicken with a pale maroon beak. She has a red comb and wears a white flower on her head. She also has white eyelashes and her feet orange striped with black. Her initial clothing in Animal Crossing is the Red Aloha Shirt. In Animal Crossing: New Leaf she now wears the Cool Tank.

Personality

Plucky has two different personalities throughout the series. She debuted as a peppy villager in Animal Crossing and an uchi villager in Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

Plucky reappears in Animal Crossing: New Leaf with an uchi (or "big sister") personality. She acts similar to a snooty villager, but she is more caring toward the player. She sometimes disagrees with cranky and snooty villagers because they spread rumors and may seem offensive.

House

In Animal Crossing, Plucky's house has an island look.

In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Plucky's RV/house has a surf house motif with K.K. Island playing in her home.

Fruit Allergy

As an islander, she has a favorite fruit and a fruit that she is allergic to. Feeding her the allergy fruit will reduce the likelihood of her dropping money bags. Plucky is allergic to cherries and loves apples.
