The golden shovel is a tool in Animal Crossing: City Folk. Compared to the standard shovel, using the golden shovel to bury Bells results in the chance for a money tree bearing three bags of  30,000 Bells to grow.

The golden shovel can be obtained from burying a shovel and digging it up a day later.
