The tatami floor is a carpet item in Doubutsu no Mori, Doubutsu no Mori+, Animal Crossing, and Doubutsu no Mori e+. It is replaced by the light-colored wooden floor in Dòngwù Sēnlín; despite this, villagers who own the tatami floor in Doubutsu no Mori received the soccer field carpet as its replacement in Dòngwù Sēnlín, rather than the light-colored wooden floor.

The tatami floor can be obtained from Tom Nook's store for 1,340 Bells.

In Doubutsu no Mori, this item appears in the homes of Billy, Bones, and Snooty as the default carpet.
