Cheri (アセロラ, Acerola) is a peppy, cub villager from the Animal Crossing series, making an appearance only in Animal Crossing until she returns in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Her name is based off the word "cherry," which defines her personality and her coloring.

Like Punchy, she was not in Doubutsu no Mori, instead making her debut in Doubutsu no Mori+, making her and Punchy the only non-islander villagers to debut in Animal Forest + instead of the N64 version.

Appearance

Cheri is a cherry red color. She has a faint yellow inside her ears. She has eyebrows that look like she is mad and has white on her paws. She may appear to be snooty at first glance. She also has darker red hair on her head, and her eyebrows are dark red as well. Cheri initially wears the Yellow Bar Shirt, a shirt striped yellow and white. In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, she initially wears the Sunflower Shirt.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the peppy personality. For more information, click here.

As a peppy villager, Cheri has the tendency to over-react in conversations about trivial subjects such as appearing in competitions and the chance of her losing. This sometimes triggers her to ask for a certain item of clothing or furniture which she needs to enter a competition. She, like other peppy villagers, are rarely discouraged from doing anything, including the usual hobbies. She also has a short attention span, which means she soon forgets arguments or tasks given to the player that are incomplete. She may ask the player, "Sooo, how am I dressed today?" The player is presented with a slide-bar indicating Kinda slobby... and Super formal! Moving the bar close to Super formal! will make her happy.

House

In Animal Crossing, Cheri's house has a red sofa and also a couple barrels, as in the construction theme barrels. She has the oil barrel and hazmat barrel. She also has some musical drums: the conga drum and two djimbe drums. She also has three totem poles: the eagle pole, bear pole, and raven pole. She has the groovy wall and kitchen flooring. Cheri listens to "K.K. Samba" on her retro stereo.

In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Cheri's house contains several pieces of future-themed furniture. She has the Astro table, lamp, CD player, shelf, bed, and dresser. She also has the Minimalist sofa and ottoman and a shower stall. She has the flower pop wall and the classroom floor. Cheri plays "K.K. Synth" on her Astro CD player.

Sign: Pisces
Clothes: Yellow bar shirt
Petphrase: tralala
Profile: Cheri likes things her own way. She can even be a little pushy, but whether it's her attitude or her expression, she's often mistaken for a boy. But she thinks she's pretty, and that's all that matters.
