The Mountain Beetle is a rare bug in the Animal Crossing series that appears in Doubutsu no Mori, Animal Crossing and Doubutsu no Mori e+. It can be found on trees during the night and early morning in July and August and sells for 2,000 Bells.

Like all fish and bugs in Animal Crossing, the Mountain Beetle can be donated to the museum by talking to Blathers, the curator. He will tell the player some information about it when the player donates it.
