Mole Day, also called Groundhog Day, is an event in the Animal Crossing series. Like many other holidays, Mole Day was not present in Animal Crossing: Wild World.
In Animal Crossing
Like the real holiday, the entire village will gather on Mole Day to see if the local mole will predict winter or the long awaited spring. At approximately 7:00 A.M., the villagers will congregate around the Wishing Well. At 8:00 A.M., Mr. Resetti appears as "the mole." If the player speaks to to Tortimer after the ceremonies, he will give out one of many flower models in honor of the occasion. In order to receive all of the flower models, the player will have to attend Mole Day multiple times.
In Animal Crossing: City Folk
During Mole Day in Animal Crossing: City Folk, Tortimer can be found standing in front of the town hall. If the player speaks to him, he will give the player a model of Mr. Resetti.
