Carmen is a snooty, mouse villager from the Animal Crossing series, appearing in every game up to Doubutsu no Mori e+, in which Carmen would eventually be replaced by a rabbit with the same name. Carmen's initial catchphrase, a portmanteau of "bump" and "pumpkin", is an insult used by the upper class to refer to derogatory, low-life individuals, usually farmers and country people, which references her snooty personality.

Characteristics

Appearance

Carmen is a dark pink mouse that bears a resemblance to Candi, another villager of the same species. She has yellow hair, white tips on her paws, light pink inside her ears, and has a white tail with pink stripes. Carmen's initial clothing is the ribbon shirt, which matches her fur. In Doubutsu no Mori, Carmen's fur is a darker shade, while her eyes are solid, black dots with white reflections.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the snooty personality. For more information, click here.

Carmen has a snooty personality, meaning she is obsessed with fashion. As a result, Carmen is high town, upclass, and chic. However, this also makes her snobbish and arrogant, and may frown upon the player and other villagers if they are acting immature, specially lazy and peppy villagers, the latter of whom she may spread rumors of. Despite this, she will easily get along just fine with cranky villagers, whom are also mature, as well as other snooty villagers. She may mention Ms. Nintendique.

House

In Animal Crossing, Carmen's house has two pineapple beds in the center of her house, as well as an apple TV and a red sofa. To the left of her pineapple bed is a mini buzzoid and mini plinkoid, respectively.
