Cherries are an item in Animal Crossing. As fruits, they can be replanted to produce cherry trees. These items are edible, and can be eaten by the player.

Cherries can be obtained from a cherry tree, any villager as a gift, or from balloons if they are a non-native fruit. In Doubutsu no Mori, they can also be obtained from Redd during a Fireworks Festival for  1,280 Bells if they are a non-native fruit. Each cherry sells for  100 Bells if it is a native fruit or  500 Bells if it is not native.
