The water egg is a crafting material in Animal Crossing: New Horizons introduced in the 1.1.0 First Update. The water egg is edible and by eating it, the player will earn energy to be able to relocate trees or break rocks. Up to 30 of the item can be stacked together.
The water egg can be obtained by fishing on days leading up to and on Bunny Day, with a 30% chance of spawning from medium-sized shadows. The water egg can also be obtained by trading three other eggs to Zipper. Up to 30 of the item can be stacked together. Each water egg sells for 200 Bells. This item is edible and by eating it, the player will earn energy to be able to relocate trees or break rocks.
