The green balloon is a tool item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons introduced in the 1.4.0 Summer Update (Wave 2). When interacted with, the player will pull down on the green balloon. If the player runs while holding the green balloon, the player can trip and lose the item. The player will also lose the balloon if they were afflicted with bad health luck or are wearing a King Tut mask and they trip while holding the balloon.

The green balloon can be obtained from Nook's Cranny for 600 Bells or at random from Redd's Raffle during a Fireworks Show for 500 Bells.

In Happy Home Paradise, this item is unlocked for use in designing when doing a vacation home request for Azalea, Dizzy, Hopkins, Moe, Twiggy, and Zucker.
