Usage

This template is to be used for citing print media. It automatically formats and sorts the data and all parameters are optional except for title. <ref> tags must be added to make it appear as a reference.

Parameters

• author (optional) – The author of the media. If there is more than one author, they should also be listed.
• date (optional) – The date the text was originally published or posted. Should be fully written out in the Month Day, Year format.
• title (required) – The title of the media. This is automatically italicized. If a publicly accessible digital archive exists online, the title can be formatted as an external link to the archive.
• issue (optional) – For magazines, the issue or volume number. If a publicly accessible digital archive exists online, the title can be formatted as an external link to the archive.
• page (optional) – The page the relevant information was found.
• publisher (optional) – The publisher of the media.
• retrieved – The date the media was used on Nookipedia as a source (should be the current date unless retroactively adding the parameter).
• language – The language of the media in question. Only to be used for non-English sources.
