"{{{1}}}" — {{{2}}} Template:GameLink([[Animal Crossing:{{{3}}}|{{{3}}}]])

Usage

This template is used to cite spoken in-game text as a reference for a particular statement or assertion (see this page for additional information).
It should be used in-between <ref> </ref> tags:

{{cite|quotation text|person speaking|game in which text appears}}

For the "person speaking" option, text will appear exactly as typed (plain text) by default. Links should be added manually if required or appropriate, using the normal method of enclosing the name in square brackets. Links may also be piped if required.

If the page referred to by the person speaking option does not exist, then the template will assume that it is a either a very minor character or a description of the specific person and will not make a link.

If the quote does not originate from a game, then leaving the game option blank will remove the game link. If something is put in the game option that does not correspond to any game, then it is assumed to be an external link to the source.

If the game of the quote is a remake of the original and does not have its own page, such as the Game Boy Advance remake of A Link to the Past, then type something indicating so as a forth parameter after the game.

Currently Functional Links

This section list the links that will function correctly. To use them, type exactly what is displayed in the link in one of the lists below.

Games

The following game links are functional. In addition to typing what is displayed below,you can also type in their abbreviations, shown below them, to use them. The preferred abbreviation is listed first, any other abbreviations that will be listed after the preferred one. If an alternate name will work, it will be listed after the abbreviations.
