Gyroid Fragments are items in Animal Crossing: New Horizons introduced in the 2.0 Free Update. They can be watered when buried to turn into a random fully formed gyroid the next day.
Gyroid Fragments can be obtained from Kapp'n's boat tours; one is buried on each island. Additionally, when the player first meets Brewster on a boat tour while unlocking The Roost, he gives the player one.
