Introduction

Hi there! My name is Zurui, I'm 26 years old, and my favorite color is green :)

I've been playing Animal Crossing for as long as I can remember, really. I remember my brother and I picking up PG from our local Blockbuster one day, and renting it over and over until our mom caved in and bought it for us. Ever since then, I've been completely enamored with the series and all its funny little villagers!

I have all sorts of special interests, but my biggest ones have got to be these three:

Worldbuilding

I'm a writer, always have been and always will be. The concept of creating an entire world, all sorts of different and functioning languages and cultures, and using them to aid a story along has always been fascinating to me. I have quite a few projects on my shelf, including one I've been working on-and-off on it for about 10 years now.

Retromodding

If you're not familiar with the term, it basically means that I take old game consoles and either fix them up to be fully functional again, or I add a bit more to them to modernize them! I primarily work on handheld consoles, like the Game Boy Color and the Game Boy Advance, but I also have experience with home consoles like the NES, SNES, and N64!

Vocalsynths

Vocaloid, UTAU, and SynthV are programs that use recordings and various synthesis technologies to mimic human singing. I've actually done quite a lot in my 10 years in the fandom, so definitely ask me about it! Hatsune Miku is my queen.
