The title of Mayor is held consistently by Tortimer, until Animal Crossing: New Leaf In New Leaf, the mayoral role is taken by the first player to move into town. The following day, a letter is received from the person who was supposed to be mayor.In Animal Crossing: New Leaf,Isabelle is the mayor's secretary.
