Nookipedia:Transition Guide
This page is for users who are moving from Animal Crossing City. It's a tutorial of how to get used to this wiki.
1. Creating an account
Easy. Click the 'Create an account' button in the top right. Also, make sure to create an account on the forums.
2. Blogs
A popular feature on ACWikia, the equivalent of blogs here is the forums, the link to which I have posted above, and there is also a link on the sidebar, near the top.
3. Edit count
Your edit count can be viewed at Special:Preferences. On the forum, it will appear on the right of any post.
4. Creating pages
To create pages, search for the page you wish to create. Then, click the link which says something along the lines of 'Create the page "<pagename>" on this wiki!'
5. Discussion on the wiki
While we do encourage the forums as the main method of communicating, please do not hesitate to use the talk pages for articles.
6. Rights
Over on ACWikia, we had/have 'Rollback', 'Administrator' and 'Bureaucrat'? Here, we have 'Patrollers', who are basically the same thing as rollbackers, Administrators and Bureaucrats, 'Bots' - do not worry about what this is for, and Lead Editors, who are similar to Administrators.
7. Queries
Please post on the talk page if you feel that there is something that I haven't covered, or you have a query about something I have mentioned
