We're glad that you've chosen to create an account! You are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Animal Crossing encyclopedia.

If you haven't yet, you're also invited to join us at our Discord icon Discord server, where you'll find other Animal Crossing fans and wiki editors.

Before you jump into editing, here are some helpful things to keep in mind:

  • Read our wiki's editing, general use, and privacy policies.
  • Create your user page! Your user page is your own personal space to put anything you want.
  • Make effective edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't 'edit war', or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links and tutorials, please see the help pages.

If you're looking for some place to start, why not check out the Community Fountain? Here you will find current events and things to do.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask a wiki staff member, or at the Community Fountain talk page. We're always happy to help! Have a great time! -- Nookipedia Staff

Congratulations, you have been awarded the Golden Leaf Award!

Here is the Golden Leaf Award in recognition of your hard work today in adding the Animal Crossing: New Horizons villagers icons to all the villagers pages! --Ocre (talk) 13:51, March 19, 2020 (EDT)

I just want to take a few seconds to tell you how grateful we are that you are adding in all these icons and portrait to villagers pages ! Wow ! I know how repetitive these kind of tasks can be - I've had to change all the villagers infoboxes a few weeks ago. You are great ! Keep up the good work, but don't burn yourself out on this task !--Ocre (talk) 15:45, March 19, 2020 (EDT)

Thank you so much! Don't worry, I take it easy. ♥ Paviinka (talk) 15:54, March 19, 2020 (EDT)

Project Villager

I would like to ask for your help with Project Villager (https://nookipedia.com/wiki/Nookipedia:Project_Villager). You are a great help when it comes to galleries, and uploading images, especially when it come to housing photos. I am currently leading the housing section of the project, and see you having an essential part in the process. If you do decide to join Project Villager, please add your signature to the page. We have started to adding completion tasks for villagers in alphabetical order, so if your are interested please start there. Lampshade59276 (talk) 13:07, April 9, 2020 (EDT)

Re: Just a chat

Yeah it's definitely one of them (my main problem is the lack of a reliable way to remove villagers/choose which villagers you want to invite without using amiibo cards). I would love it if they raised the limit to 20 because there are way too many good villagers to only let us have 10 (especially when New Leaf also had 10 with a smaller town and more facilities like the cafe and Dream Suites), but I think even raising it to 15 would be fine (or 16 to allow two of every personality). And yeah, Cookie is very good. --Skittles (talk)

Re: P2 tourists

Thank you, that makes sense. I’m also a P2 on my significant-other’s island, so I’ve been trying to pay attention to these differences, but I realized afterwards that I’ve never taken a tour when there was a plot available. I will probably leave it, as “player” (without further distinction) should be sufficient in this case. Cheers! JoGo (talk) 22:40, May 20, 2020 (EDT)

Upscaled images

I noticed that you upscaled the images in Category:Wild World fish icons. However, on Trig Jegman's Discord server, SuperHamster stated that we haven't officially decided whether upscaling is the thing to do, and if we do, they should probably upload them as a separate file to keep the original intact. For now, I would revert the files until we figure out what to do (whether it's uploading separate upscaled versions or changing our image rendering system). More info can be found in #general-discussion on Trig's server. ~ AlexBot2004 (Talk) 19:35, June 12, 2020 (EDT)

as written,
Kayvan – Today at 4:15 PM To clarify some things: we are not officially decided on upscaling, this was just a suggestion for dealing with small pixel sprites that would scale up neatly. The alternative is to use image-rendering CSS like MarioWiki does, but we need to set up a selective system for it since we don't want image-rendering to be applied to all images. If we do scale up any images, I think they should go under a different filename, keeping the original intact.
