Ten vertical-board fences can be obtained from crafting, which requires 8× wood. The recipe for this item can be obtained from Nook Stop for 1,000 Nook Miles. As of the 2.0 update, the fence's color can be customized either by using 1 customization kit or by Cyrus at Harv's Island for 1,000 Bells.
