Image Uploads[edit]
When you upload images to Nookipedia, the source shouldn't state "Google" or "Internet." It has to be a link to the actual source. For example when you google an image and click it, you should see an associated website underneath it. You should directly link that as the source instead. Random google images also aren't the best location for high-quality images, so I wouldn't recommend doing that. But if you absolutely have to grab an image from Google, make sure to properly source it. HylianAngel (talk) 03:45, December 11, 2021 (EST)

Asking questions[edit]

Two things to note[edit]
- When writing content in an article such as Room Sketch, be sure to write it in third-person (the player), not in second-person (you) nor first-person (I, we). If you need any additional material to learn in regards to how Nookipedia handles the writing on mainspace article, see the Article style and etiquette section on Nookipedia's policy page.
- The image in your signature is currently broken. When making a image name move, be sure to fix any links that may have still used the previous links, because otherwise the image will not show up properly.

Do not copy writing from other websites[edit]
Recently you created the Room Sketch page and directly copied the text from this internet article. Do not copy writing from other websites. Any Nookipedia pages that you create or contribute to should be in your own writing. You can do research and cite other websites as references, but copying the text word-for-word is unacceptable. Any time you create an edit, this fact is mentioned just above the "Save changes" button: "You are also promising us that you wrote this yourself, or copied it from a public domain or similar free resource. Resizing images[edit]
If you want to resize the image within your infobox, just change the image from [[File:ToadetteFan007Avatar.png]] to [[File:ToadetteFan007Avatar.png|250px]]. You don't need to re-upload the same image with a smaller resolution. HylianAngel (talk) 06:35, July 27, 2022 (EDT)

Avatar image re-uploads[edit]
I've noticed you've been re-uploading your avatar image a lot to fit into scale - you only need to upload the image once and wait for the cache to update. The thumbnail may look weird (like the original image being resized to the new image or vice versa), but it's perfectly fine on the server, and it'll look good when the cache updates. ~ Vivian (talk) 10:36, July 27, 2022 (EDT)

Signature[edit]
I went ahead and corrected what I assumed was a typo in your signature at User:Sylveon/Sig. You recently changed it from link=User:Sylveon to link:User:Sylveon, but that breaks the functionality, and users who try to click it will instead end up on the picture page instead of your userpage. Per signature policy, it is required for your signature to link to your userpage, so I reverted the change back to link=User:Sylveon so it works properly again. I'll bring this up with the other staff, but I personally don't think it is impersonation. Usually impersonators are clear trolls that don't have any intention of contributing, but I think this is just coincidental. But as I said, I'll check with the others. Thanks! Avatar?[edit]
Not sure if it was a good idea to name your file "Mycharacter.jpg", since that's a pretty specific name for a file that's for all of Nookipedia..
