Welcome!

Welcome to Nookipedia, Acnh Player!
Nookipedia.png
We're glad you've taken the step to create an account and edit our wiki! With an account you'll now be able to easily edit pages, participate in discussions, watch pages, track your edits, and have access to additional editing tools. You can also create and edit your own user page.

If you intend to continue editing, here are some things to keep in mind:

  • Read our wiki's general use and editing, and privacy policies.
  • Preview your changes before saving them to avoid the need for making corrections afterwards.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes instead of undoing or reinstating changes repeatedly without discussion.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This code will automatically leave your name and a timestamp.

You can find editing tutorials and further information about our policies on the help pages.

Where to start? Check out the The Roost for the latest discussions, or consult the to-do list on the Main Page to see tasks that need to be worked on.
Questions? Feel free to ask a member of staff directly, post your question on the The Roost talk page, or ask about it on our Discord icon Discord server. We're always happy to help!
Thank you for your contributions, and have a great time! -- Nookipedia Staff

Final warning

You have received a final warning from Nookipedia staff.
This warning is for your recent moderation-related edits:
  • In this talk page message, you warned a new user about previewing their edits. The edits in question were four edits to the Club LOL page, which hardly constitutes "consecutive editing." Often times, editors (myself included) submit an edit, then notice a mistake or think of something else to add shortly after. Users only need to be reminded to use the "show preview" button if their consecutive edits are excessive and across several pages.
  • In this edit, you undid a constructive edit based on staff members' earlier reversions of Moses Sin's edits. You should not imitate what you think the staff would do; in this case, you failed to understand that Moses Sin's edits were undone because they were adding excessive and unnecessary Wikipedia links to pages. This does not mean that all Wikipedia links should be removed.
  • In this edit and the following talk page message, you undid a good-faith edit from a new user and came across as rude in your edit summary and talk page message. First, the talk page message was not needed, as it basically restated your edit summary. Second, the language used (saying the edit did not make sense and questioning the editor's intent) can be discouraging to editors who just wanted to make a constructive contribution to the wiki.
  • Most recently, you created Moses Sin's userpage to place a block notice on it. This was not needed, as the notice is already on the user's talk page, and a MediaWiki system notice is displayed when viewing their (non-existent) userpage.

These edits give the impression that you are trying to act like a staff member by moderating edits and users. They also give the impression that you are just trying to imitate what you see staff members do, rather than actually trying to help out users. Additionally, the talk page messages you have left for new users can give them the false impression that you are a staff member. This is your final warning, since you have already been warned twice recently for other disruptive behavior. Any further disruptive behavior will result in a block. ~ AlexBot2004 (Talk) 11:05, May 20, 2024 (EDT)

Please ensure you follow Nookipedia policy. This is your final warning. Your next violation will result in being blocked from editing.
Thank you for your cooperation. -- Nookipedia Staff

I never said I was a staff member. ACL.png Acnh Player (talk) ACL.png 19:14, May 20, 2024 (EDT)

Please do not remove an active level of warning from your talk page. In the spirit of good faith I'm going to assume on this occasion that you may not have been aware that you must not archive this, so I will give you a single warning not to do this. However, there will be no further warnings for your behaviour. The next time you engage in disruptive behaviour of any kind, or attempt to remove an active warning from your talk page, you will be blocked. --Shark HHD Icon.png Dorsal Axe (talk) 04:30, May 29, 2024 (EDT)
What is an active warning and what is considered an active warning? ACL.png Acnh Player (talk) ACL.png 22:05, May 30, 2024 (EDT)
It basically means it was issued recently, though there's nothing concrete on how long a warning will remain active for. Even if archived (which should only be done infrequently when your talk page is getting too long), it doesn't stop it being kept in mind by staff when deciding on whether to take further action. Restarting

Alright, so as you know, I am planning on restarting my Animal Crossing New Horizons island, so what tips do you have? I have a lot of stuff on my current island, but I want to restart. Thanks *~<Melodii>~* (talk) 09:44, May 24, 2024 (EDT)

First, choose the island type which has a peninsula on the right. ACL.png Acnh Player (talk) ACL.png 18:21, May 24, 2024 (EDT)

Blocked for one month

Given that you have not adhered to the warnings that we have provided over the past month or so, you've been blocked for a month. I want you not to take this as a "bad thing" as you have continued to do with the warnings that you opted to entirely ignore, and instead take this as an opportunity to improve your behavior. This will be your only chance at improving, anything you do after this block will result in a permanent ban. Me and the other staff will closely monitor your off-wiki activity as well, so I suggest you don't do anything derogatory to us during this period, otherwise you'll never have another chance editing here on Nookipedia. -- PanchamBro (talkcontributions) 11:01, May 29, 2024 (EDT)

I am so sorry. I will stop. Also, I tried to follow the warnings but I kept making mistakes. I am so sorry. ACL.png Acnh Player (talk) ACL.png 18:24, May 29, 2024 (EDT)
The staff mutually agreed on this block. Begging staff members to unblock you (as you did in the Discord server) will not help your case and can lead to an indefinite block if it continues. ~ AlexBot2004 (Talk) 19:05, May 29, 2024 (EDT)
What does mutual mean? ACL.png Acnh Player (talk) ACL.png 19:06, May 29, 2024 (EDT)
It means that the block was agreed upon and had support from multiple staff members, rather than being a decision made by just one. Drago (talk) Drago PC Villager Icon.png 11:20, May 31, 2024 (EDT)

Block

Oh no! Im so sorry you got blocked! When the block ends, I hope you're able to stay and dont get blocked again!
