Is his species official?

Has it ever been officially confirmed that Jack's species is a pumpkin? I don't recall any time that has been stated, plus the first sentence of the article states his species is unknown, contradicting what's stated in the infobox and Pumpkin (species) page. If this is unofficial, Pumpkin should be removed from his infobox and the species page should be deleted. ~ AlexBot2004 (Talk) 16:49, October 3, 2020 (EDT)

I've been wondering this myself. Not sure if it's ever explicitly stated anywhere, but I doubt it. I think the closest thing to a "confirmation" is the pumpkin icon on his e-card, but that's shaky at best. The pumpkin could be a helmet, he could be a spirit, who knows.
