The player calling for Lobo

The Megaphone is a tool introduced in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. The player can use it to locate villagers by holding down A and speaking their name into the Nintendo 3DS microphone, to which the villager will reply with a chat bubble. The Megaphone can also be used to wake up Gulliver when he washes up on the town's beach. If used right next to them being called, the villager will get angry and ask to be left alone.

• It cannot find villagers that are in houses or shops
• It cannot be used in Main Street
