I'm looking through the [[plants]] article with this template, and I noticed a few issues. The template's width doesn't correspond correctly with the amount of columns on the table. Second, the flowers part of the table has the info very scrunched up, which essentially one word per line, and there are six lines. Any idea we can manage this? {{User:Mario/Sig}} 18:44, April 18, 2016 (EDT)

:The problems you're experiencing are not a result of faulty coding or the table displaying incorrectly. The width of the columns depends on three things: 1) the width of the browser window 2) the string length of the cell in the column with the largest string length and 3) the string length of the column heading. In the flower area, the reason there seems to be one word per line is because at that screen resolution the table shrinks as small as it can, and the column widths are mostly dependent on 3) the string length of the column heading, which for that column is "Info"- a very short word. It is possible to manually set the widths of the column either to an exact value (e.g. 30px), or a percentage of the page (e.g. 10%), but seeing as the template will be placed on a variety of pages, while it may fix display issues on this page, it may cause issues on another page where there is not as much data in the Info column, and more data elsewhere. Other options are increasing the percentage of the page the table spans (it's at 80% now) or making the font size of the data within the table smaller. The problems you're experiencing are not a result of faulty coding or the table displaying incorrectly.
