This article is about the villager. For natural phenomenon, see Aurora (Natural Phenomenon).

Template:Infobox villager Aurora (オーロラ) is a normal penguin villager in the Animal Crossing series series. She is named after the aurora, which can be seen in the skies above the South pole, where most species of penguin live. Her initial phrase comes from pronouncing "baby" while shivering, which happens when words are pronounced usually in cold weather or climates. She has appeared in every Animal Crossing game to date.

Appearance

Aurora is a typical penguin with black eye sockets, and when she blinks her eyelids are a pale-pink. She also has a large, white belly, and a black stripe going down the front of her face. She has black feet and initially wears the pink tartan shirt in City Folk.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the normal personality. For more information, click here.

As a normal villager, Aurora will appear friendly and hospitable towards the player and other villagers. Like other normal villagers, she will have an unseen obsession with hygiene and cleanliness, which she mentions when the player visits her in her home. Other than her hygiene interests, she will appear neutral and open-minded when discussing hobbies. She will get along easily with other villagers, but may conflict with lazy villagers when they talk about food and leading her on to suggesting making them dinner or lunch.

House

Her house has not a specific theme in any version of the series and she has many random items on it; as for carpet and wallpaper she has the kitchen tile and the lunar horizon wall. In the Gamecube version she has K.K. Swing playing on it; on Wild World and City Folk her gold stereo has K.K. Gumbo on it.
